Small containers

on

One of my primary reasons to kick cancers ass for as long as I can is our son. Talk about things not being fair. Here’s an incredible young soul that has to deal with emotions adults struggle with. And he does it with compassion and lots of questions. He is pretty damn amazing so I am fighting not only for myself but also for my son to have a mom and my husband to have a wife. There’s more at stake here than simply my health. There’s a family and a love story that I’m not ready to close the chapter on.

Each time I make a vegan dish and look at their chicken with longing, I remind myself that plant based will keep my ass on this earth for a bit longer. Surprisingly, moving to a plant based diet has me taking lunch to work vs buying it. So it does save a bit on cost. This also allows me to bring a bunch of small containers of things vs one big meal. I am easily bored when it comes to eating so having elevated spices and a bunch of difference textures helps keep me engaged in my eating. I’m also a no food touching, eat one dish at a time kinda gal so that works well with the small containers too.

Small containers…also great for travel! The other primary reason for living is my husband. My rock. We are heading out of town in the future for work/pleasure. It’s important for us to have couple time together. We both are carry on people so I have to be creative with beauty products. World Organics version of small containers are their trial size. I find them perfect for travel. They literally take up no space and I simply toss out at the end of the trip if they are empty leaving me more room in my carry on for those gifts E is expecting!

We all have our reasons for loving each day to the fullest and with fight. What ever your reason is love and live each day like a gift. Hug tighter, smile brighter and call more. Love is one thing that shouldn’t fit into a small container.
